Daytime Tongue Position? Link to Jaw Clenching and Grinding

Where does your tongue positioned right now?

Have you thought about that?

There is a massive link between tongue position, how you breathe and clenching / grinding.

As you can imagine, cleching and grinding can cause jaw problem when done vigorously and over many days, months and years.

Answer is, we want
1 Tongue on roof of mouth
2 Teeth ever so slightly apart and certainly not biting hard
3 lips closed together comfortably
4 Nose BREATHING

What’s Nose breathing got to do with Jaw clenching and grinding???

Well,

Have you noticed you have a dry mouth or even dry lips when you wake up first thing in the moring? Do you need to get drink of water?
Yes, Dry Mouth is called Xerostomia.

Dry Mouth/Xerostomia can drive and trigger clenching / grinding episodes.

So to repeat,
